WGA, LLC is seeking a Project Manager for Site Development in Houston/Austin to lead the project team through the full lifecycle, from inception to closeout, ensuring work meets client requirements and company standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, a Professional Engineer (PE) license, and 5+ years of civil engineering project management experience. You will manage budgets, schedules, QA/QC, invoicing, and client communications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the project team and take ownership of the entire project lifecycle, ensuring successful completion from inception to final closeout.
  • Conduct weekly meetings and maintain communication with the project team, including internal teams and external subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards, project schedules, and financial management.
  • Provide project updates and reporting to Practice Manager or Practice Leader keeping them informed of project progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Manage projects to a minimum of 95% completion in areas where you have identified competency.
  • Draft project proposals and set budgets, collaborating with the project team to ensure accuracy and alignment with client requirements.
  • Oversee project accounting, including invoicing, budget tracking, and updating project management systems like Ajera.
  • Lead and assist in staff management, providing guidance, coaching, and motivation to team members.
  • Begin to manage client relationships and work collaboratively with Client Managers to meet client needs and expectations.
  • Develop work plans for projects, including internal milestones and resource allocation.
