Job summary

Just Construction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial and high-end residential window projects across the NYC market. A leading architectural window manufacturer and installer is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial and high-end residential window projects throughout the NYC market.

The company specialises in custom architectural windows, window wall systems and terrace doors, delivering projects across new construction, historic renovations, occupied buildings and major residential developments.

This role will manage projects from contract award through design coordination, manufacturing, delivery, installation and final handover, working closely with internal engineering, production, field installation teams and external project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple window and window wall projects from award through to completion.
• Coordinate design development, shop drawings, submittals, RFIs and engineering approvals.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure products are fabricated to specification and delivered on schedule.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans and cost forecasts.
• Coordinate with general contractors, developers, architects, consultants and site teams.
• Manage material deliveries, installation sequencing, site access and logistical requirements.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and resolve technical or programme-related issues.
• Review change orders, track project costs and maintain accurate documentation.
• Oversee quality control, inspections, punch lists and final project closeout.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Project Management experience within commercial construction, architectural windows, glazing or building envelope contracting.
• Experience with architectural windows, window wall systems, curtain wall or façade packages.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, shop drawings, submittals and technical coordination.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, procurement and installation activities.
• Ability to coordinate effectively between manufacturing, engineering, site teams and external stakeholders.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience delivering projects in the NYC metro market is preferred.

Ideal Background

Candidates with experience working for architectural window manufacturers, glazing contractors, façade specialists or building envelope companies will be of particular interest.

Experience with high-rise residential, commercial developments, historic building renovations or occupied renovation projects would be advantageous.
