Job summary

Xtreme Solutions seeks a Project Manager / Senior Business leader to drive government mission delivery. This role emphasizes translating mission requirements into actionable work packages, leading daily task-order execution, and supporting analytics, AI/ML, Power BI, Power Apps, and data integration.

The successful candidate will interface with government managers, develop schedules, manage risks, and coordinate deliverables across a cross-functional technical team in a primarily remote setting

Qualifications

• Active final secret clearance.
• 8+ years of professional experience.
• 5+ years managing technical delivery projects or task orders.
• Direct experience managing software, analytics, data, cloud, ERP, Power Platform, or comparable technical delivery.
• Experience managing a cross-functional team of approximately five or more technical personnel.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, business, engineering, data analytics, or a related discipline; four additional years of relevant experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary daily interface with the government technical manager and COR.
• Lead project kickoff and ongoing technical and requirements coordination.
• Develop and maintain the integrated project schedule.
• Maintain deliverable, risk, issue, decision, dependency, and action-item tracking.
• Translate operational needs into requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized technical work.
• Coordinate AI/ML model development, dashboard development, data integration, application development, testing, demonstrations, and production reviews.
• Prepare meeting minutes, monthly progress reports, staffing updates, and percent-complete reporting.
• Manage scope boundaries and identify potential changes before out-of-scope work begins.
• Coordinate demonstrations and reviews with CASCOM capability developers and data SMEs.
• Track government dependencies involving data, access, environments, licensing, and approvals.
• Coordinate technical documentation and knowledge transfer.

Project Manager / Senior Business

Schedule: Approximately 30 hours per week / 0.75 FTE
Work Arrangement: Primarily Remote with Required Travel to Fort Lee, VA
Clearance: Active Final Secret Required

The Opportunity

This is not a meeting-coordination or administrative project manager position. We are looking for a technical delivery leader who can take government mission requirements and turn them into actionable requirements, acceptance criteria, schedules, and technical work packages.

The Project Manager will lead daily task-order execution while serving as the senior business analyst supporting analytics, AI/ML, Power BI, Power Apps, data integration, and related technical initiatives.

What You\'ll Do

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

• Active final secret clearance.
• 8+ years of professional experience.
• 5+ years managing technical delivery projects or task orders.
• Direct experience managing software, analytics, data, cloud, ERP, Power Platform, or comparable technical delivery.
• Experience managing a cross-functional team of approximately five or more technical personnel.
• Demonstrated experience developing requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, or functional specifications.
• Experience managing schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, action items, deliverables, and customer reporting.
• Experience coordinating requirements, demonstrations, user acceptance, and production releases.
• Experience working in fixed-price, milestone-based, or deliverable-based environments.
• Bachelor\'s degree in IT, computer science, business, engineering, data analytics, or a related discipline; four additional years of relevant experience may substitute.

Strongly Preferred

• DoD, U.S. Army, or other federal government experience.
• Experience supporting analytics, Power BI, Power Apps, Azure, data engineering, AI/ML, ERP, or logistics systems.
• Experience working directly with a COR, government technical manager, product owner, or capability developer.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster, or comparable certification.
• Experience managing classified personnel or systems.
• Familiarity with Army sustainment, GCSS-Army, SAP, supply, maintenance, readiness, or property accountability.
