Project Manager (Security Systems Integration)

As we expand in the Bay Area, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, high‑visibility commercial security projects from start to finish. This role is built for a proven leader who understands low‑voltage security systems deeply and knows how to drive execution, accountability, and client confidence at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and communicate project goals; ensure understanding across team and Operations Manager.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of low‑voltage electrical and security systems projects from initiation through completion.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to project teams, aligning with client expectations and company objectives.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand unique requirements and objectives; serve as the primary point of contact.
  • Coordinate with contractors, stakeholders, and SAS technicians to execute tasks.
  • Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables; monitor and control scope to prevent scope creep.
  • Forecast resource needs, schedule and assign labor; communicate with subcontractors, parallel trades, and contingent workers.
  • Build and lead cross‑functional project teams; delegate tasks and clarify responsibilities.
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation and contingency plans, and resolve issues to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Review and update project progress; perform on‑site quality control.
  • Develop detailed project budgets, track expenditures, and deliver projects within financial constraints; provide regular financial updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience managing or leading complex low‑voltage electrical/security systems projects.
  • Expert technical knowledge of low‑voltage electrical systems, access control, CCTV, and related security technologies.
  • Ability to interpret plans and create schematic drawings and mark‑ups.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability to evolving project requirements and industry trends.
  • Computer literacy, including Internet research.
  • Strong working knowledge of Genetec, Lenel, Intrusion Systems, D‑Tools, and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license in the state of residence; ability to meet company driving standards.
  • Must possess or qualify for an ACE (Alarm Company Employee) registration card issued by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services.

  • Scales ladders or man lifts at extended heights.

  • Comfortable standing for long periods and sitting at a desk for long periods.
  • Regularly lifts, moves, and/or controls up to 40 lbs.
