Kalman & Company, Inc. seeks an experienced Project Manager with a Secret Clearance to support Federal and DoD clients onsite at Fort Meade, MD. The role provides strategic programming, planning and advisory services to government customers.

Applicants must have US Citizenship, a Bachelor's degree, and 10+ years of leadership in large-scale IT projects, preferably involving DoD programs and EVM processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience managing defense, intelligence, or civil agency programs.
• US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance are required.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and large-scale IT projects for Government and DoD clients.
• Familiarity with DoD processes such as Earned Value Management (EVM) preferred.

Kalman & Company’s Business Analytics team is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a Secret Clearance to join our growing team serving Federal and DoD clients. This role will provide onsite support at Fort Meade, MD. As part of our team, you’ll provide our Government clients with strategic programming, planning, and advisory support services. A salary range of $100K/year- $120K/year, dependent upon the selected applicant's qualifications.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• With minimal direction, provides expert support, analysis and research into exceptionally complex problems, and processes relating to the subject matter.
• Serves as technical expert on executive-level project teams, providing technical direction, interpretation and alternatives.
• Thinks independently and demonstrates exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Applies extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines.
• Guides the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role.
• Develops technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. Work is performed without appreciable direction.
• Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Expertise is in a particular area of Information Technology (e.g., Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, Communications and Network Systems Management), or a specific functional area (e.g., finance, logistics, and operations research).
• Proven leadership abilities with experience leading cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment of goals and collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
• Expertise in team coordination, task delegation, and maintaining team morale to meet project milestones effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale IT projects for Government and DoD customers, ensuring compliance with federal standards and policies.
• US Citizenship is required.
• An Active Secret security clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience performing project management for defense, intelligence, or civil agency programs.
