Intone Inc. is seeking a Project Manager/Scrum Master for a remote, contract role supporting our data management and analytics team.

You will lead agile teams, remove roadblocks, and ensure delivery in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will mentor teammates, coordinate with stakeholders, and provide technical leadership for ETL and data warehousing efforts, using Scrum and SAFe practices as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as Scrum Master leading ETL, data conversion, or MDM projects.
• Experience leading multiple agile teams and delivering BI/data warehousing work.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a Project Manager/Scrum Master for a contract position with the Department of Employee Trust Funds (ETF). This role will support our data management and analytics team on a small, collaborative unit using agile practices to deliver value to business partners. The position is remote-based and available for 6+ months.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple agile teams using Scrum and agile methodologies, with particular experience in business intelligence and data warehousing scrums
• Direct and monitor daily work efforts, identify resource needs, perform quality reviews, and escalation functional, quality, and timeline issues appropriately
• Develop and hold teams accountable for commitments; remove roadblocks to their work and leverage organizational resources to improve capacity for project and operational delivery
• Mentor and develop team members while building strong team cohesion
• Manage team progress and status through JIRA
• Balance and apply both agile and traditional project management principles to fit project and business environments
• Provide technical leadership to data management and analytics teams; evaluate complex project risks, issues, and roadblocks with accuracy and objectivity
• Develop and deliver presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Work productively with cross-functional working groups and across organizational layers
• Establish and maintain high levels of customer trust and confidence by understanding and supporting business needs

Qualifications

• Required
  • Minimum 5 years in a Scrum Master role leading scrums for ETL, data conversion, and/or master data management (MDM)
  • Experience leading and managing multiple agile teams using Scrum/agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of agile and traditional project management principles and practices
  • Demonstrated experience in team development, accountability, and mentoring
  • Strong technical knowledge of data management and analytics sufficient to provide credible leadership to technical teams
  • Proficiency with agile project management tools such as JIRA or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to think critically and identify innovative solutions
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence and interact with individuals at all levels
