Overview

FedTec is seeking a skilled Project Manager / Scrum Master who will oversee the modernization of data visualization and decision-making through the development of a PowerBI dashboard suite and data lakehouse integration using Army Vantage. This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned tasks, ensuring alignment between project objectives, contractual requirements, and Army operational needs.

Location: (Remote) Based out of Fort Hood, TX

Security Clearance: Verifiable DoD Secret (or higher) is Required

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting for III Corps data engineering and dashboard development efforts.
  • Define project scope, objectives, schedules, resource plans, and deliverables in alignment with the PWS and Government requirements.
  • Lead Agile program management cycles, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coordinate with data engineers, subject matter experts, and Army staff to ensure dashboard and data lakehouse solutions meet operational and technical requirements.
  • Conduct project meetings with stakeholders, providing status updates, risk assessments, and corrective action recommendations.
  • Oversee vendor and subcontractor task integration, reviewing deliverables for compliance with Army standards and contract requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance and quality control standards as defined in the Quality Control Plan (QCP) and monitored under the Government’s Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP).
  • Support knowledge transfer activities to III Corps staff, ensuring solutions can be sustained and expanded by the Operational Data Team.
  • Maintain compliance with DoD security requirements, including safeguarding PII, maintaining CAC eligibility, and enforcing OPSEC and IA training requirements.
  • Provide technical and analytical guidance to project teams and stakeholders to resolve complex challenges and ensure delivery of value-driven outcomes.
Basic Qualifications – Required Education, Certifications, Skills, And Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or related field (PMI certification desired) with 5+ Years of experience
  • Associate’s Degree and 7+ Years of relevant work experience will be accepted in lieu of a BA/BS Degree
  • Proven success managing IT and/or data-focused projects in a federal contracting environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading Agile teams and managing iterative software development cycles.
  • Knowledge of Army operations, data visualization (PowerBI/Foundry), and data engineering practices preferred.
  • Strong ability to develop and track schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Experience with compliance, quality assurance, and contract deliverables management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under strict timelines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, project management software, and collaboration tools.
  • Minimum Citizenship Status Requirements: US Citizen
