Who You Are

The Project Manager (PM) supports the Program Manager in planning and executing projects for a USACE Recurring Maintenance and Minor Repair (RMMR) task order. Responsibilities include bidding, planning, organizing, monitoring, and administering work to ensure timely, within-budget completion adhering to quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The PM supports project lifecycle management, tracks administrative requirements, schedules, budgets, and ensures client/stakeholder needs are met, including invoice processing and guiding project teams.

What You’ll Do
  1. Lead RMMR activities, goals, and objectives, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
  2. Manage all aspects of assigned task orders, including project management, safety, quality, and billing.
  3. Facilitate effective communication between clients and project teams, providing timely updates on schedules and requirements.
  4. Oversee development of service orders, ensuring safety and quality plans are followed, using UFGS/UFC/EM-385 guidance for review and approval.
  5. Monitor the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for service orders.
  6. Coordinate with relevant management for service order execution, resource allocation, and schedule adherence.
  7. Manage subcontractors, establish fees, and coordinate agreements.
  8. Monitor and manage the project budget, forecast and address budget issues proactively.
  9. Coordinate with accounting on billing, revenue, and financial records, maintaining monthly records of work, invoicing, and revenue.
  10. Support proposal development, client relations, and project reporting.
  11. Conduct site visits, safety audits, and quality reviews, implementing improvements as needed.
  12. Mentor subordinate staff and contribute to performance reviews.
What You’ll Bring
  • Minimum five years of project management experience or relevant certification; experience in DoD/Civilian fuels industry preferred.
  • Contract administration/support experience, preferably related to GSA.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with military service in the relevant field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with QuickBase, eMaint, MaintainX, Timberland, or similar software.
  • PMP certification and USACE RMS program experience are preferred.
  • Ability to interpret government contract language and work independently towards goals.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Leadership experience, including mentoring and performance management.
  • Proficiency in English, ability to pass background checks, and legal authorization to work in the US.
Physical Demands

Work involves desk work, communication, reaching, lifting up to 25 pounds, and visual requirements.

Work Environment

Office setting with occasional fieldwork at construction and client sites, requiring safety gear and outdoor exposure.

Travel Requirements

Occasional travel within the US, reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and security clearance eligibility required.

Compensation

Salary range: $85,000 - $105,000 annually, with potential benefits and additional compensation based on experience and location.

Location Requirements

Primarily remote with up to 10% travel; preference for residents of NC, SC, GA, or FL.
