Job summary

Burgess & Niple in Mentor, OH seeks a Project Manager / Roadway Engineer to lead transportation projects for ODOT and local agencies across Ohio. You will build on existing relationships and develop new partnerships throughout the state, driving quality and timely design delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• PE registration is required.
• 8+ years of civil transportation experience.
• Experience leading roadway design tasks or as roadway design lead.
• Familiarity with proposal development and client relationship management; existing relationships with ODOT or Ohio agencies a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Bentley OpenRoads and Civil 3D a plus.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program

• Demonstrated experience leading roadway design tasks or serving as the roadway design lead on transportation projects
• Familiarity with proposal development and client relationship management efforts. Existing relationships with ODOT or Ohio local agencies a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, experience using Bentley OpenRoads and/or Autodesk Civil 3D a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-directed, adaptable professional with the ability to effectively utilize virtual collaboration platforms
