Job summary

Phoenixrestorationsdmv is seeking a Project Manager to lead large-scale restoration projects in the Washington, DC area. You will oversee multi-trade efforts from assessment through completion, working closely with insurance companies, property owners, and field teams to deliver on-time, on-budget results.

You’ll have autonomy to run projects while supported by established systems and leadership. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in restoration or construction PM, a PMP or equivalent, and strong

  • 5+ years project management experience in restoration or construction.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of insurance claim processes.
  • PMP certification preferred; IICRC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple restoration projects from start to finish.
  • Develop schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate with insurance adjusters, owners, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure project quality, timelines, and budget compliance.
  • Conduct site inspections and safety reviews.
  • Prepare reports and project documentation.
  • Negotiate contracts and change orders.
  • Mentor junior staff members.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years project management experience in restoration or construction
  • Strong understanding of insurance claim processes
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites
  • PMP certification preferred
