Project Manager - Residential Remodeling

Location: Waterville, OH, with regular visits to residential remodeling jobsites in the surrounding service area.

Help skilled crews do their best work and keep remodeling projects moving.

You'll coordinate subcontractors, support our in-house team, and work with a Production Manager who provides direction and oversight.

About the Role

You’ll help turn project plans into organized daily progress by coordinating subcontractors and answering construction questions from our in-house team. When issues arise, you’ll use your construction knowledge to troubleshoot, clarify next steps, and help work move forward.

You’ll report to the Production Manager and work within that direction while taking responsibility for day-to-day project coordination. This opportunity suits someone who already understands construction methods and can recognize how completed work should look.

We use JobTread to support project management. Training is available, so previous JobTread experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractor schedules and the sequence of work.
• Support in-house team members with construction questions and project direction.
• Troubleshoot jobsite issues and help determine practical solutions.
• Monitor project progress and identify issues that could interrupt the work.
• Review work in progress for workmanship and alignment with project expectations.
• Communicate clearly with subcontractors and employees about next steps.
• Use JobTread to track project activity and support coordination.
• Keep the Production Manager informed about progress, questions, and issues requiring direction.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on residential construction or remodeling experience, with demonstrated knowledge of construction methods, work sequencing, and jobsite problem-solving.
• A working understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and quality workmanship.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors and support an in-house construction team.
• Strong organization and follow-through.
• Clear, approachable communication and the ability to work well with others.
• Ability to take direction from the Production Manager while managing daily responsibilities.
• Willingness to learn and use JobTread.
• A dependable approach grounded in integrity, respect, and helpfulness.

Preferred

• Experience managing or coordinating residential remodeling projects.
• Familiarity with JobTread; training is provided.

Pay and Benefits

• Full-Time. W-2 Employment
• Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on relevant experience. Possible higher pay for the right candidate
• 5 paid personal days after 1 year of service
• 7 paid holidays.
• 5 paid vacation days after 1 year, increasing to 10 days per year after 2 years of employment
• 401K with a 3% match
• JobTread training is available.
