KEY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES-
1. Project Planning and Scope Management:
- Defining the project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Developing detailed project plans, timelines, resources and budgets.
- Ensuring alignment with client requirements and regulatory standards.
2. Resource Allocation and Management:
- Identifying and procuring necessary resources (engagement of labour, sub-contractor, materials, equipment).
- Monitoring resource allocation including aggregate, sand, soil, morrum etc with competitive price and performance.
- Managing subcontractor and supplier relationships.
3. Construction Execution and Site Management:
- Supervising construction activities on-site to ensure quality and safety.
- Prepare work programme and monitor project progress as per the programme and addressing & resolve any issues that arise.
- Prepare DPR & MPR of the Project for the billing and other purposes and send same to Bhubaneswar office for further course of action.
- Conduct daily & weekly meeting with Project staffs to ensure the timely achievement of work target.
- Monthly review meeting of the project will be held with concerned of Head Office for desired support and necessary approval in each & every month within 10th.
4. Monitoring and Inspection:
- Project managers should conduct regular inspections of project machinery and equipment to identify potential hazards or maintenance issues and proper utilization. Address to Maintenance deptt for necessary servicing and maintenance if required.
- Project manager should check HSD Consumption of Machineries regularly to avoid any mis-appropriation or mis-use and find out any unlawful then initiate appropriate disciplinary or legal action with proper channel.
- Fulfil required supervisor and below staffs with prior approval from HR Department and given timely requirement to HR deptt for Supervisor above category staffs.
- Recommended to HR deptt for desired staff change and required disciplinary as well as administrative action proceeding against indiscipline staffs etc.
5. Financial Management:
- Monitoring project budgets and managing costs.
- Preparing bill & timely submission and liasioning with the deptt till release of payment.
- Preparing and presenting project reports and financial statements such as profit/loss of the project on monthly basis.
- Monthly submission of Stock, WIP, Material reconciliation report to Bhubaneswar Office.
- Negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.
6. Client Communication and Management:
- Maintaining effective communication with clients, contractors, and engineers.
- Facilitating communication and collaboration among project teams.
- Addressing concerns and providing project updates.
7. Risk Management:
- Identifying and assessing potential risks to the project.
- Developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans to resolve the risk.
- Project managers are responsible for identifying and assessing potential risks to machinery and equipment, including risks associated with their operation, maintenance, and storage.
8. Quality Control and Assurance:
- Ensuring that the project meets the required quality standards.
- Conducting regular site inspections to assess project progress and quality.
9. Documentation:
· Maintaining project documentation, including reports, drawings & design, specifications and necessary approvals from Client along with EOT, Deviation, COS, letters etc.
· Maintain necessary project Labour license, Insurance, Register etc.
· Maintain desired project Statutory compliance like sub-contractor, Lab contractor and suppliers GST, TDS, EPF, ESIC etc.
10. Safety Management:
- Ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Implementing safety training and procedures.
- Monitor the implementation of safety procedures and ensure that they are being followed
11. Problem Solving and Decision Making:
- Resolving local issues, Labour issues, Pollution board, Forest deptt, Mines deptt., Electrical deptt, Water resource deptt. Issues & clearance and maintain good relationship with Govt. administrative officers.
- Resolving technical issues and providing innovative solutions.
- Making timely and informed decisions to ensure project success.
12. Leadership and Team Management:
· Leading and motivating project teams, Mentoring and developing team members, and creating a collaborative and positive work environment to achieve project targets.
13. Completion of Project in schedule time frame:
· project manager is responsible for effectively managing all aspects of the project to ensure it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards with good profit.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
