Valmet is seeking a Project Manager to lead Pulp, Energy and Circularity (PEC) Projects Execution and Delivery across North America. You will drive project management for mechanical, controls, and/or chemical engineering efforts with strong commercial understanding.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 5 years of PM experience, with travel estimated at 25%–50%. The position is Hybrid, located in the US with office presence required.
As a Project Manager at Valmet. you will apply your skills and experience in Project Management to lead Pulp, Energy and Circularity (PEC) Projects Execution and Delivery at our customers facilities across North America. We are looking for people who have experience in mechanical, controls, and/or chemical engineering and who have strong commercial and business understanding.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Pulp and Paper Engineering or a closely related field is required or a combination of equivalent education and experience. Preferred experience with participating in or leading capital and improvement machinery projects consisting of multi-cultural and multi-discipline teams. Minimum of 5 years of proven industry-related Project Management experience is essential. Travel will be required – estimated at 25% - up to 50%
We work a Hybrid schedule, with a minimum 3 days/week at the office. This position is NOT open for any domestic or international relocation. Person must be living and authorized to work in the US.
