Job summary

BECI is seeking a Project Manager or Project Engineer to join our Tampa, FL team. This local role includes occasional travel to support other branches and to attend training.

Prior building enclosure experience is a plus and we offer strong training to get you up to speed. You will assist with troubleshooting, perform quality analyses on site, generate investigations reports, and help prepare construction specifications while providing technical support to staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/construction management or equivalent experience in the construction industry.
• IIBEC credentials (RRC, RRO, RWC, or REWC), or EIT certificate a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting building envelope issues.
• Site visits to construction sites to provide support and quality analysis.
• Produce reports based on investigations.
• Assist with the preparation of construction specifications.
• Provide technical support to staff.
• Attend trade shows, seminars and educational programs to stay abreast of industry trends and ensure continued professional development.

This position is considered local however, out of market travel will be required on occasion to train and to support other branches/markets. Previous Building Enclosure experience is a plus but, if you don't have that, don't worry, we're really good at teaching and...WE WILL TRAIN YOU!

Responsibilities

• Assisting with troubleshooting building envelope issues.

• Assisting with the preparation of construction specifications.
• Providing technical support to staff, as required.
• Attending trade shows, seminars and educational programs to keep abreast of industry trends and ensure continued professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (engineering/construction management) or equivalent experience in the construction industry.
• IIBEC credentials (RRC, RRO, RWC, or REWC), or EIT certificate a plus, but not required.

Compensation

• This position is salary-based with the potential for quarterly performance-based bonuses.
• The salary is competitive and generally exceeds the national average.
