The Opportunity:

CCI is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Project Manager to support our Maritime Industrial Base Support Program. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of project execution, from planning and coordination to resolving technical issues and providing operational guidance. You will manage complex projects, liaise with cross-functional teams, and ensure mission success in a dynamic environment. Additionally, you will serve as the PP&C Directorate Risk Manager, helping to create and manage a risk management program for all MIB-funded projects, working closely with leadership to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks to project scope, schedule, cost, and benefits.

Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee all aspects of assigned projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure to ensure alignment with program objectives.
  2. Act as a project leader at the individual order level, providing direction and leadership to cross-functional project teams.
  3. Coordinate project activities across technical, operational, and administrative functions, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  4. Resolve technical and operational issues in collaboration with stakeholders, including quality assurance, engineering, manufacturing, and program management.
  5. Provide operational guidance for current and proposed projects, maintaining close liaison with key stakeholders and customers.
  6. Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  7. Serve as the PP&C Directorate Risk Manager; lead efforts to build and manage a formal risk management program across MIB-funded initiatives.
  8. Collaborate with program leadership to assess and monitor risks related to scope, schedule, cost, and performance benefits.
  9. Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations for diverse audiences, including senior leadership and government stakeholders.
  10. Provide strategic advice and expertise to project teams, supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  11. Consult with clients to define project requirements, assess risks, and recommend data-driven solutions.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active SECRET Clearance.
  • 5–10 years of relevant project management experience.
  • BA/BS or MA/MS degree; 12+ years of experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from inception to completion, including complex, mission-critical programs.
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluations, recommendations, and process improvements.

Preferred:

  • PMP or PMI-RMP certification.
  • Experience in risk management programs or oversight functions.

Pay Range:

The salary range is estimated at $74,600 - $156,700, influenced by location, experience, skills, education, and certifications. We offer competitive benefits including healthcare, wellness, retirement, family support, education, and time off. Learn more here.
