Job summary

AKS Engineering & Forestry, LLC is seeking a Project Manager in Procurement Services to own sourcing, logistics, and material coordination for complex energy and infrastructure projects in Las Vegas. You will work cross-functionally to ensure materials and vendors align with project delivery needs.

You’ll partner with internal teams, manage supplier relationships, and drive contracts, quality surveillance, and schedule risk reporting.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, project management, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of sourcing, logistics, vendor management, and coordination.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple workstreams with priorities.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support sourcing activities including RFQs, bid evaluations, supplier selection, and coordination.
• Partner with internal teams to translate project requirements into procurement plans.
• Manage vendor relationships, monitor performance, and support contracts and issues.
• Coordinate logistics and trade compliance to ensure timely delivery.
• Support quality surveillance, documentation, and non-conformance tracking.
• Own deliverables from kickoff through completion with trackers and reports.

As a Project Manager within our Procurement Services group, you’ll play a key role in sourcing, logistics, quality, and material coordination, working cross-functionally to ensure the right materials, vendors, and processes are in place to support successful project delivery. What You’ll Do

• Execute and support sourcing activities including RFQs, bid evaluations, supplier selection, and commercial coordination.
• Partner with internal teams to understand project requirements and translate them into effective procurement and execution plans.
• Manage vendor relationships, monitor performance, and support contract administration and issue resolution.
• Coordinate logistics, transportation, and trade compliance activities to ensure timely and compliant material delivery.
• Support quality surveillance and inspection activities, including documentation, reporting, and non‑conformance tracking.
• Own deliverables from kickoff through completion, maintaining trackers, schedules, risk logs, and client‑facing reports.

Who You Are

• You have 4–7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, project management, or related operational roles.
• You understand sourcing, logistics, vendor management, and project coordination fundamentals.
• You’re highly organized and comfortable managing multiple workstreams with competing priorities.
• You communicate clearly and professionally with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• You bring strong attention to detail and follow‑through, ensuring accuracy and quality in deliverables.
• You thrive in fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environments and take ownership without needing heavy direction.
• You have a “Do what needs to be done” mindset, taking ownership beyond assigned tasks and stepping in wherever needed to keep projects, teams, and customers supported and running smoothly.

Nice to Have

• Experience in energy, construction, utilities, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
• Exposure to quality inspection processes, trade compliance, or material management.
• Familiarity with ERP or procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Coupa.
• Strong analytical skills related to market trends, pricing, and supply chain risk.
• Interest in process improvement and building scalable procurement practices.
