This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Manager – Power Solutions based in the United States.

Overview

Join a leading engineering and consulting environment focused on delivering innovative power infrastructure solutions for mission-critical facilities, hyperscale data centers, and advanced energy systems. In this role, you will lead complex electrical power projects from initial planning through design, construction coordination, commissioning, and final delivery. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, utilities, vendors, and contractors to ensure projects meet technical, financial, and operational objectives. Your expertise will help drive reliable electrical infrastructure, including medium- and high-voltage systems, energy storage, microgrids, and backup power solutions. You will oversee project budgets, schedules, quality standards, and stakeholder relationships while identifying risks and opportunities for improvement. This fully remote opportunity combines technical leadership, commercial responsibility, and innovation in a collaborative environment that values professional growth and continuous improvement.

Accountabilities
  • Project leadership and delivery: Lead power solutions projects throughout their lifecycle, including project kickoff, design development, procurement support, construction coordination, commissioning, energization, and closeout, according to the assigned scope.
  • Technical coordination: Coordinate multidisciplinary activities involving electrical distribution, medium- and high-voltage systems, substations, generation, energy storage, microgrids, inverter-based resources, backup power, and associated control systems.
  • Planning and execution: Define project scopes, deliverables, technical assumptions, execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements in collaboration with engineering teams and project leadership.
  • Vendor and contractor management: Coordinate subconsultants, vendors, and external partners, including defining scopes of work, reviewing proposals, evaluating bids, monitoring performance, and reviewing deliverables.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, utilities, contractors, commissioning teams, engineering disciplines, and other stakeholders, maintaining clear communication and alignment throughout project execution.
  • Quality assurance and risk management: Ensure project deliverables meet applicable codes, safety requirements, quality standards, design criteria, and client expectations. Coordinate quality reviews and help resolve design, field, construction, and commissioning issues.
  • Schedule and resource management: Coordinate team assignments, resource allocation, and project schedules with project managers and directors to support efficient execution and timely delivery.
  • Financial management: Prepare, forecast, and monitor project budgets, profitability, margins, bill rates, utilization, and overall financial performance. Identify financial risks and implement strategies to control costs and schedule deviations.
  • Change orders and billing: Communicate additional fee requirements to clients, manage scope changes, develop cost schedules and schedules of value for progress billing, and monitor vendor and subcontractor commitments against approved budgets.
  • Business development and proposals: Lead the preparation of technical proposals, fee estimates, scopes of work, assumptions, resource plans, and pricing. Support project pursuits and identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships.
  • Technology and innovation: Identify and implement opportunities to use digital platforms, automation, advanced analytics, data visualization, and AI-enabled tools to improve forecasting, reporting, documentation, quality assurance, and project controls.
  • Administrative responsibilities: Maintain project records, review and distribute daily reports, manage project contracts and work hours, complete departmental reporting, and ensure assigned deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Safety and compliance: Follow organizational and site safety requirements while ensuring that project activities align with applicable technical standards, data security expectations, and operational requirements.
Requirements
