Focuses on process improvement, organizational change management, project management, and related processes within the business. Project management tasks include estimating, scheduling, costing, planning, and managing issues and risks.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proven experience in managing intermediate to large-scale projects with effective results, using prescribed methodologies. Strong knowledge of project management techniques.
• Ability to develop detailed project plans, communication strategies, schedules, role definitions, and risk management plans.
• Mastery of standard project management software and applications; quick learner of new tools and capable of instructing others.
• Problem-solving skills, including identifying potential issues and presenting solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Ability to consult with senior project management staff and follow established procedures. Projects may impact multiple departments and involve team coordination.
• Healthcare industry experience is preferred.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least one project management course.

Required Experience

2-4 years of relevant experience in business, engineering, or related fields; degree may be substituted with experience.

Preferred Education

Additional formal project management training is preferred.

Preferred Certifications

PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt certifications are desired.
