Job Summary

Focuses on process improvement, organizational change management, project management, and other processes related to the business. Project management includes estimating, scheduling, costing, planning, and issue/risk management.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Proven understanding and results in managing intermediate to large-scale projects using prescribed approaches. Solid knowledge of project management methods and techniques.
• Ability to develop detailed project plans, communication plans, schedules, role definitions, risk management strategies, and assumptions.
• Proficiency in standard applications and project-specific software, with the ability to learn new software quickly and instruct others.
• Ability to identify problems, anticipate potential issues, and present solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Experience consulting with higher-level project management staff and referring to established procedures or prior experience for appropriate actions. Projects may impact multiple functions and involve team organization.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least one project management course.

Required Experience

2-4 years of relevant work experience in business, engineering, or a related field; degree optional with experience.

Preferred Education

Additional formal training in project management is preferred.

Preferred Certifications

PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt certification is desirable.
