Job Description

Job Summary

Focuses on process improvement, organizational change management, project management, and other processes related to the business. Project management includes estimating, scheduling, costing, planning, and issue/risk management.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Proven understanding and results in managing intermediate to large-scale projects, using prescribed approaches. Solid knowledge of project management methods and techniques.
• Ability to develop detailed project plans, communication plans, schedules, role definitions, and risk management strategies.
• Complete mastery of standard applications and project-specific software; quick learner of new software and capable of instructing others.
• Ability to identify problems, anticipate potential issues, and present solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Experience consulting with senior project management staff and following established procedures; projects may impact multiple functions and involve team coordination.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least one project management course required.

Required Experience

2-4 years of relevant experience in business, engineering, or related fields; degree may be waived with sufficient experience.

Preferred Education

Additional formal project management training preferred.

Preferred Certifications

PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt certifications are desirable.
