Job Description

Job Summary

Focuses on process improvement, organizational change management, project management, and related processes within the business. Project management responsibilities include estimating, scheduling, costing, planning, and issue/risk management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proven experience and results in managing intermediate to large-scale projects with a structured approach. Strong knowledge of project management methods and techniques.
• Ability to develop detailed project plans, communication plans, schedules, define roles, and manage risks and assumptions.
• Proficiency with standard applications and project management software; quick learner of new software and capable of instructing others.
• Problem identification and anticipation skills, with the ability to present solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Experience consulting with senior project management staff and following established procedures. Projects may impact multiple functions and teams.
• Healthcare industry experience is preferred.

Job Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least one project management course.

Required Experience: 2-4 years in business, engineering, or a related field; degree may be substituted with relevant experience.

Preferred Education: Additional formal project management training.

Preferred Certifications: PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt.
