Job Description

Job Summary

Focuses on process improvement, organizational change management, project management, and other processes related to the business. Project management includes estimating, scheduling, costing, planning, and issue/risk management.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Proven understanding and results in managing intermediate to large-scale projects, using prescribed approaches. Solid knowledge of project management methods and techniques.
• Ability to develop detailed project plans, communication plans, schedules, role definitions, risk management, and assumptions.
• Mastery of standard applications and project-specific software; able to quickly learn new software and instruct others.
• Identifies problems and anticipates potential issues; can present alternatives to manage obstacles.
• May consult with higher-level project management staff and refer to established procedures or prior experience for timely action. Projects may have moderate cross-functional impact.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience; at least 1 Project Management course required.

Required Experience

2-4 years of relevant work experience in business, engineering, or related fields; degree may be substituted with experience.

Preferred Education

Additional formal training in Project Management is preferred.

Preferred Certifications

PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is desirable.
