This position focuses on process improvement, organizational change management, project management, and related business processes. Responsibilities include estimating, scheduling, costing, planning, and managing issues and risks.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proven experience managing intermediate to large-scale projects with effective results, using prescribed methodologies. Solid understanding of project management techniques.
• Ability to develop detailed project plans, communication strategies, schedules, role definitions, risk assessments, and assumptions.
• Proficiency in standard project management software and applications; quick learner of new software and capable of instructing others.
• Problem identification and anticipation skills, with the ability to propose solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Experience consulting with senior project management staff and following established procedures. Projects may impact multiple departments and involve team coordination.
• Healthcare industry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least one project management course.

Required Experience: 2-4 years in business, engineering, or a related field; degree may be substituted with experience.

Preferred Education: Additional formal project management training.

Certifications: PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
