Job Description

Job Summary

Focuses on process improvement, organizational change management, project management, and other processes related to the business. Project management includes estimating, scheduling, costing, planning, and issue/risk management.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Proven understanding and results in managing intermediate to large-scale projects using prescribed approaches. Solid knowledge of project management methods and techniques.
• Ability to develop detailed project plans, communication plans, schedules, role definitions, risk management, and assumptions.
• Proficiency with standard applications and project-specific software. Ability to quickly learn new software and instruct others.
• Identifies problems and anticipates potential issues. Able to present solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Collaborates with higher-level project management staff and follows established procedures or prior experience for appropriate actions. Projects may impact multiple functions and teams.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least 1 project management course.

Required Experience

2-4 years of relevant work in business, engineering, or related fields. Degree can be substituted with experience.

Preferred Education

Additional formal project management training is preferred.

Preferred Certifications

PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is desired.
