We are seeking a highly motivated and forward-thinking Project Manager to be a foundational member of our new People Team Project Management Office (PMO). In this role, you will be pivotal in shaping the operational backbone of the People Team. While you will be amplified by AI and automation, your focus will shift from manual tracking toward high-value strategic delivery, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment. You will help build and operate a structured framework that standardizes how the People Team delivers on its most critical goals, ensuring all projects are intelligently aligned, optimized, and accelerated.

Your Impact

PMO Foundation & Execution

• You will manage a portfolio of key People Team initiatives from intake to completion, including programs like Performance Management, Engagement Surveys, and Compliance.
• You'll partner with the Chief of Staff to establish and run the PMO, which involves defining and implementing standardized project management processes, templates, and best practices, all while driving the adoption of our central project management platform as the single source of truth.

AI & Automation Integration

• A key part of this role is leveraging the native AI capabilities within our project management software to automate sub-task generation and summarize project statuses, as well as to optimize schedules and predict potential bottlenecks before they impact delivery.
• You will champion an "Automate First" mindset by continuously identifying opportunities to streamline repeatable tasks and workflows, from project intake through to final reporting.

Strategic Alignment & Stakeholder Management

• You will be responsible for ensuring all projects are aligned with the CPO's highest priorities and the company's strategic objectives.
• This role serves as the operational bridge across the People Team, facilitating cross-functional collaboration and therefore eliminating siloed work.
• You will also prepare and present clear, data-driven updates on project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership so that everyone remains aligned.

Continuous Improvement

• You'll utilize a data-driven approach to measure project success and refine timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments for future initiatives.
• This position also involves conducting audits and analysis of existing workflows to identify opportunities and threats, which will directly shape the evolution of our PMO operating model.

Your Qualifications

• Proven experience in project or program management, preferably within an HR/People team, operations, or a similar function in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with modern project management software and a deep understanding of its role as a central system of record and collaboration.
• Genuine passion for technology and a keen interest in leveraging AI and automation,which are crucial for driving efficiency and unlocking strategic insights in this role.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a sharp eye for detail, plus the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships and align stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive, strategic thinker who can move beyond simple task management to anticipate needs, identify risks, and guide projects to successful completion.
• Comfortable using data to inform decisions, utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Base Salary Range: $106,000 — $152,000 USD
