Your main responsibilities
  • Full cycle project management of high-quality, financially successful new installations.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives, field superintendents, and customers to meet specifications and resolve technical issues.
Project Management
  • Oversee new installation projects to ensure efficient, profitable close-out.
  • Provide approved submittals and ensure timely delivery of materials from vendors.
  • Collaborate with the Field Superintendents to monitor job progress and address potential delays with action plans.
  • Partner with Engineering and local & regional management for successful completion of the project.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and assist with monthly forecasting and budget planning.
  • Identify change notice opportunities, prepare paperwork, and secure customer approvals before work begins.
Financial Ownership
  • Manage project revenue, size, and adherence to fulfillment guidelines.
  • Ensure timely invoicing, targeting 90% payment prior to elevator turnover.
Customer Relationship Management
  • Establish and maintain critical customer relationships to support project success.
  • Submit certified payroll, including tracking worker hours, wages, and fringe benefits in accordance with prevailing wage laws.
Quality & Safety Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with customer and Schindler requirements for quality, performance, and passenger safety.

  • Participate in a three-day in-person onboarding training focused on New Installation (NI) tools and processes.

What you bring
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
Preferred
  • Experience in the construction, elevator or related building systems industry.
  • Familiarity with SAP, Lotus Notes, and project management software like Procore.
  • Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
  • Strong financial acumen.
