Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a talented Project Manager to join our team! In this role, you will manage project activities on behalf of the project owner.

This includes oversight and coordination of A&E and CMAR activities following project/client procedures, scope of work, and contract specifications. You will serve as the primary contact with the client for all site-related activities. The work location will be at our client’s office and various job sites within the Navajo Nation.

Projects: We are currently managing projects from pre-construction to construction administration on the Navajo Nation in Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Represent the company with the client and subcontractors during project execution.
  • Negotiate scope changes with the client and key subcontractors.
  • Market and secure additional work with the client.
  • Follow up on instructions and commitments; participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and public meetings as needed.
  • Establish and oversee the Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents.
  • Develop program requirements and monitor deliverables for adherence.
  • Create and distribute a project overview to the team for reference.
  • Plan, direct, supervise, and control all project functions.
  • Assign responsibilities to team members based on their strengths and qualifications.
  • Handle field responsibilities such as labor relations, procurement, and payroll if required.
  • Mobilize resources to create effective project teams.
  • Collaborate with managers and engineers to develop budgets, schedules, and plans.
  • Ensure project goals are met or exceeded.
  • Devise and implement corrective actions for cost overruns or delays, and advise management accordingly.
  • Maintain current and timely change orders.
  • Promote quality and technical excellence through QA processes.
  • Monitor and report project progress, milestones, and issues affecting cost or schedule.
  • Conduct weekly project status meetings and follow-up on action items.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience, including on CMAR projects.
  • Experience managing projects valued at $15M-$100M or more.
  • Experience with Native American projects over $15M.
  • Management of design and construction phases.
  • Strong client interface skills and technical project management abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and industry knowledge.
Desired Skills:
  • Navajo language skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of project scheduling.
  • Professional registration and advanced certifications are assets.

Salary Range: $120,800 - $217,400
