Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Manager – Municipal in Saint Cloud, MN to lead civil infrastructure projects for public and private clients. You will oversee design, construction inspection, contract administration, and business development with a focus on delivering on time and within budget.

You will mentor team members, manage client communications, and coordinate with engineers, technicians, and designers while traveling as needed to client sites across the region. A Minnesota P.E. is required.

Qualifications

• P.E. registration in Minnesota is required.
• 8+ years of experience in civil infrastructure design.
• Experience with public and/or private sector clients and projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D preferred.
• Experience in engineering design, construction inspection, and contract administration.

Your Opportunity

In this role you will be responsible for the management of a variety of Civil Engineering Infrastructure and Municipal projects and studies.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Client Service, Development, Management, and Growth
• Attendance at Client meetings during the workday and evenings, if requested.

• Execute and manage complex civil engineering designs
• Serve as a technical design expert for projects and supervise and manage work through junior staff to develop and execute design
• Plan and manage projects and tasks to complete them on time and within budget
• Supervision of Engineers, Technologists, and Designers

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration in Minnesota
• Experience with public and/or private sector clients and projects
• Experience in design functions, such as site planning, roads, drainage, grading, water systems, sanitary sewer systems and other municipal and private sector infrastructure.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D preferred
• Experience in engineering design, construction inspection, contract administration, project management and business development.
• Has the skill and knowledge to create, suggest, and introduce innovative and effective client solutions and integrated deliverables that are aligned with the Sector business objectives.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal abilities
• Willingness to work in a team atmosphere and lead/assist M&BD activities as a team for positioning and pursuits of new opportunities
• Known to be proactive in his/her ability to be a market leader
• Known for sustaining long-term client relationships
• Ability to travel to nearby clients as required
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record required
• Strong relationship builder and able to provide strong Client references.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in the design of civil infrastructure.

Pay Range

Locations in MN, OH, VT, & Various CA, ME, NY, VA Areas - $93,600.00 - $135,700.00 Annually

Pay Transparency

In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
