Big-D Construction in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a dynamic Project Manager - Multifamily to lead complex ground-up multifamily projects, manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality.

This role requires a bachelor’s in a construction-related field and 5+ years of construction experience, with strong knowledge of trades. The PM will chair meetings, prepare reports, and drive successful completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction field or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years construction experience in a similar role.
• Ground-up multifamily project experience preferred.
• Knowledge of building trades and construction processes.

Big-D Construction is looking for a Project Manager - Multifamily to join our team based in Salt Lake City, UT.

Essential Functions

• Assumes accountability and ownership of the project
• Is responsible for project safety and environment programs
• Sets up project reporting procedures
• Understands and enforces contractual responsibilities, contract documents and dispute resolution
• Ensures timely project completion through effective project scheduling, timely delivery of materials and efficient management of material and document submittals / approvals
• Negotiates and issues subcontracts and major purchase orders and monitors their progress
• Negotiates, prepares, issues and executes change orders to subcontractors and prepares any revisions to original budget
• Prepares and issues monthly owner progress reports, schedules and cost reports
• Develops insurance compliance with site-specific quality control and safety plans
• Chairs and records project meetings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction‑related field preferred
• 5+ years construction‑related experience in similar capacity
• Ground up multifamily experience preferred
• Knowledge of building and construction trades
