Descripción del empleo

WHO ARE YOU?
  • Good service matters to you. You take pride in client service and believe it reflects on you, your work, and the organization you represent.
  • You sweat the small stuff. You’ve always been a detail person. You focus on the trees while keeping a consistent look and feel; getting the details right is essential to a good outcome.
  • You’re obsessed with organization. You get things done quickly and calmly, handle many responsibilities at once, and discern what’s important and urgent so no cracks fall through.
  • You’re a hungry learner. You enjoy constantly taking in new information, solving problems, and love feedback.
  • You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. You’re resourceful, comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change, have a positive can‑do attitude, and turn challenges into opportunities while staying rigorous about prioritization.
WHO ARE WE?

We are Ideal Restoration, and we save the spaces that shelter, teach, heal, and change the world. We offer a range of emergency and environmental services designed specifically for commercial, public facility, and multi‑family housing managers. From the moment Ideal is engaged, we take control of the situation, quickly and effectively resolve issues, and ensure the health and safety of building occupants while minimizing costs, risks, and impact on building operations and people.

With our headquarters in San Francisco, we’re geographically positioned to respond within 90 minutes or less to every call we receive. Ideal is proud to be a Women’s Business Enterprise and San Francisco Local Business Enterprise.

WHAT'S THE JOB?
  • You’ll manage projects from start to finish. Starting with inspections and estimates, you’ll guide stakeholders through recommendations to develop scope, timelines, and expectations—even in complex, multi‑hazard situations. You’ll visit job sites, ensure work is performed correctly, safely, and in compliance with regulatory agencies (like BAAQMD, CDPH, OSHA, etc.) especially when projects involve hazardous materials.
  • You’ll communicate with clients daily. Keeping clients informed of progress and needs, navigating issues that arise, is a daily task from contract to final payment via phone, text, email, or in person.
  • You’ll direct and lead our technician crews. Setting scope with lead technicians, checking in daily, supporting best work, and providing daily positive and constructive feedback for growth and excellent outcomes.
  • You’ll manage approved subcontractors and materials needs. From equipment rental, temporary labor, and partnering with other contractors and industrial hygienists, you’ll ensure you have what you need to get every job done right.
  • You’ll serve on the Emergency Response Team. Building emergencies happen after hours; you’ll be on a rotating schedule to respond to after‑hours needs.
  • You’ll partner with teammates daily. Working closely with fellow Project Managers, leveraging the Project Coordinator, setting schedules, keeping projects on track, ensuring complete documentation, and collaborating with business development to win new clients and represent Ideal.
  • You’ll deliver accurate invoices and support collection efforts. Reviewing job logs daily for accuracy, partnering with accounting to send timely invoices, and confidently communicating with stakeholders (insurance adjusters, consultants) to resolve outstanding billing issues.
