The Project Manager for the Midwest Pediatric Device Consortium assists in running and operating the FDA PDC program to administer resources and grant support to pediatric medical technologies in need of commercialization support. Additionally, the Project Manager manages new and existing portfolio projects with PDC leaders, medtech industry vendors, clinician innovators, and other relevant stakeholders. Operationally, the Project Manager runs and operates external grant opportunities, annual events, and meeting with pediatric medtech companies as well as operating innovation education programs, workshops, and PDC initiatives. Experience in related programs or projects will be required and will need to be demonstrated in a cover letter in order to be considered.
Leads cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and monitor projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality parameters.
Develops project plans and timelines to ensure tasks are completed on schedule. Manages project budgets when applicable and ensures financial goals are met. Leads project team meetings and provides direction to team members. Monitors project progress and addresses any issues that arise. Communicates project status updates to stakeholders and senior management. Ensures project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience, required. Master's Degree, preferred.
