Job summary

ABB in the United States seeks a Project Manager to lead medium-size projects, ensuring execution per procedures and coordinating internal and external resources to meet contract deliverables from its Lake Mary, FL hybrid location.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of project management experience; PMP certification is a plus. Travel up to 25% (including international) and valid US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent years of experience.
• Experience in Project Management within related field; PMP Certification would be a plus.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, including international travel.
• Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

• Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
• Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
• Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.
