Job summary

Loenbro, a national construction partner, seeks a Project Manager to oversee mechanical/structural scopes for commercial and industrial projects. You will manage budgets, schedules, procurement, and subcontractors, while maintaining safety and contract compliance.

This role serves as the primary liaison among field operations, leadership, and customers. Responsibilities include leading teams, driving on-time, on-budget delivery, and ensuring quality standards.

Qualifications

• Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing industrial or commercial construction projects.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Mechanical field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large scale commercial & industrial construction projects from setup to close out across data center, power generation, renewables, mining, and oil & gas sectors.
• Lead teams including Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Project Coordinators.
• Supervise daily work and ensure conformance with all contract requirements.
• Ensure safety and environmental requirements are met on all projects.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, and subcontractor resources for timely, cost-effective completion.
• Enforce company safety rules and project execution standards.

Job Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and successful delivery of commercial and industrial construction projects, specifically overseeing our mechanical/structural scopes of work. This role oversees all phases of a project, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, resource allocation, subcontractor management, client relations, and project closeout activities. The Project Manager is accountable for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and contractual requirements.

Success in this role is demonstrated through strong leadership, effective communication, financial management, and the ability to proactively identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining positive relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and project teams. The Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between field operations, company leadership, and customers, ensuring successful project outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Oversee large scale commercial & industrial construction projects from set up to close out related to the data center, power generation, renewables, mining, and oil & gas construction industries.
• Responsible for recruiting, managing and leading teams of employees, including Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Project Coordinators.
• Supervises the daily work of employees.
• Verifies conformance of finished work product, including overseeing compliance with all contract requirements.
• Responsible for ensuring all safety and environmental requirements are met.
• Coordination of all labor, equipment, and subcontractor resources with Project subordinates and other Loenbro companies to ensure timely, cost-effective completion of project.
• Assures all employees within the team know and follow the company safety and work rules and policies.

Qualifications

Required

• Engineering or Construction Management Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing industrial or commerical construction projects.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Mechanical field.

Preferred

• Experience with HCSS Heavy Job or similar job costing program.
• Experience with P6 or similar scheduling software.
• Experience with Viewpoint or similar account software.
• Experience with Heavy Bid or similar estimating software.
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office products.
• Completion of OSHA or equivalent safety training.
• Ability to travel 80%.
• Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
