Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager – Matting Solutions in Canton, OH to estimate temporary access and manage projects in powerline, pipeline, and civil sectors. You will perform take-offs, develop execution plans, and coordinate materials, subcontractors, and costs.

The role requires a Bachelor's in construction-related field (desirable) and ~5 years of estimating/PM experience. Strong communication and MS Office proficiency are essential; B2W software is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in Estimating/Project Management.
• Ability to prioritize, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Strong understanding of Project Management and Lean construction methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Work with sales to design and estimate solutions for projects.
• Design and map solutions for temporary right-of-way access.
• Attend pre-bid, pre-construction, and site visits for potential projects.
• Take-offs from plans and estimate labor, equipment, and materials.
• Develop execution plans, schedules, and project narratives for proposals.
• Manage cost analysis, scheduling, and project management activities.
• Ensure projects are executed on budget and billed timely.
• Negotiate subcontracts and manage supplier costs.
