Job summary

Foth seeks an Engineering Project Manager – Consumer Products to lead capital and improvement projects for Food & Beverage manufacturing clients. You will serve as the primary client interface, overseeing scope, budgets, schedules, and multi-discipline teams from concept through installation and start-up.

You will manage procurement, safety, and project delivery while identifying efficiencies and growth opportunities. Travel ~25–35%; base compensation ranges with bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Capital project experience and multi-discipline team leadership.
• Experience in the Food & Beverage manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client interface, leading scope development, proposal support, issue resolution, and long-term client relationships.
• Lead the planning and execution of multi-discipline capital projects, ensuring delivery within budget, schedule, and contractual requirements.
• Direct and manage project teams, subcontractors, and vendors; anticipate staffing needs and provide performance feedback.
• Manage project scope, including documentation and execution of approved changes.
• Coordinate procurement of equipment, materials, and installation services; evaluate bids and award contracts.
• Coordinate with construction management to support installation, check-out, and start-up activities; align OEMs and contractors.
• Develop and enforce project-specific safety plans and client safety standards.
• Identify efficiencies and support business development through strong project delivery.
• Travel as required (approximately 25–35%).

Foth is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager – Consumer Products to lead capital and improvement projects for manufacturing clients in the Food & Beverage industry. This role serves as the primary client interface and is responsible for the successful execution of multi-discipline engineering projects from scope development through installation and start-up. This position will be working out of our Green Bay, WI; Madison, WI; Milwaukee, WI; Minneapolis, MN; Jackson, TN; Columbia, SC; Chicago, IL; or US-Based Remote location.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary client interface, leading scope development, proposal support, issue resolution, and long-term client relationship management
• Lead the planning and execution of multi-discipline capital projects, ensuring delivery within budget, schedule, and contractual requirements
• Direct and manage project teams, subcontractors, and vendors; anticipate staffing needs and provide performance feedback
• Manage project scope, including documentation and execution of approved changes
• Coordinate procurement of equipment, materials, and installation services, including bid evaluation and contract awards
• Partner with construction management to support installation, technical check-out, and start-up activities; coordinate OEMs and contractors as needed
• Develop and promote adherence to project-specific safety plans and applicable Foth and client safety standards
• Identify execution efficiencies and support business development opportunities through strong project delivery
• Travel as required (approximately 25–35%)

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical experience
• Industry experience in Food & Beverage manufacturing
• 5+ years of project management experience
• Capital project experience and multi-discipline team leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in the food or beverage industry
• 7+ years of Project Management experience
• Project Management Professional Certification or ability to obtain
• Professional Engineer license
• Success working in a consultant environment

$130,000 - $155,000 a year

The base compensation listed for this job posting reflects a general range for the posted position. Base compensation will vary based on factors such as: years of experience, location, level of responsibility and licenses/certifications. In addition to base compensation, Foth members may be eligible to receive bonuses through our Earned Performance Incentive program. All employees are eligible for On-the-Spot bonuses. Exempt members are also eligible for either quarterly and/or annual bonuses.
