Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Project Manager with manufacturing or construction experience to lead turnkey projects and act as the primary contact for assigned customers.

You will plan, execute, monitor, and complete projects, coordinate with engineering, production, and sales, and manage schedules, budgets, and subcontractor quotes.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Project Management, six years PM experience, and proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Global Shop Solutions).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Project Management required; PMI certification preferred.
• At least six years of project management experience in manufacturing or construction, preferably with a small or midsize business in structural steel fabrication, building, or a related field.
• Experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously; ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with customers as primary contact for each project.
• Plan, execute, monitor, and complete turnkey projects with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and manage project schedules, track progress, and address delays or other issues.
• Create and manage project budgets, monitor costs, and participate in cost reviews.
• Request, evaluate, and select subcontractor quotes.
• Review bid documents with the estimating team to ensure quotes are accurate and submitted on time.
• Prepare material takeoffs and cost estimates for new opportunities and changes orders.
• Manage changes in project scope, identify risks, and develop contingency plans.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure products meet customer specifications and delivery commitments.
• Prepare and present project updates, proposals, requirements documents, and progress reports.
• Read and interpret blueprints and contract drawings.

Project Manager

Manufacturing or construction industry experience is required.

Job Duties:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers, serving as their primary point of contact throughout each project.
• Plan, execute, monitor, and complete turnkey projects while coordinating with Miller’s management, engineering, production, and sales teams.
• Develop and manage project schedules, track progress, and address potential delays or other issues.
• Create and manage project budgets, monitor costs, and participate in cost reviews and reduction efforts.
• Request, evaluate, and select subcontractor quotes.
• Review bid documents with the estimating team to help ensure quotes are accurate and submitted on time.
• Prepare material takeoffs and cost estimates for new opportunities and project change orders.
• Manage changes in project scope, identify risks, and develop contingency plans.
• Work with manufacturing to ensure products meet customer specifications and delivery commitments.
• Prepare and present project updates, proposals, requirements documents, and progress reports.
• Read and interpret blueprints and contract drawings, applying knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and management to estimate costs for non-core opportunities.

• At least six years of project management experience in manufacturing or construction, preferably with a small or midsize business in structural steel fabrication, building, or a related field.
• Experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Hands-on experience with fabrication processes and oversight of fabrication work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using an ERP system; Global Shop Solutions experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
