Job description

Needed Immediately: Project Manager needed in Fort Pierce, FL. This is a quick-paced role and requires good multitasking capabilities.
Required:
  • B.S. degree in related engineering field (Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, etc.) is a MUST
  • A minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager
  • Strong knowledge of ASME B31.1, B31.3, ASME Section VIII Division I, ASTM Section IX preferred (anyone with mfg might be considered)
  • Strong knowledge of 3D CAD modeling, drawings and machine design. (company uses 3D Autocad and Inventor) - this will only be used for modifications or 'clean-ups' not for heavy design - they have a department for the design
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes including turning, milling, and welding.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capacity to handle a fast pace and high pressure work load.
Job Details:

In this role, your responsibilities include but not limited to, the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.

You will work with a variety of different teams, including designers, engineers, and production workers, to ensure that each product meets quality standards and is delivered on time. Manufacturing project managers may also be responsible for managing the flow of information between all of these groups. This includes ensuring that everyone knows what’s going on at all times, as well as making sure that they’re all working together effectively toward a common goal. Helpful skills for this job include strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication abilities.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects.
  • Review, comprehend and execute projects in accordance with project plans and specification documents.
  • Develop, organize, and obtain approvals on product submittals.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Balance risk management and cost optimization to minimize potential risks while maximizing profits.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Order materials pre plans, specifications and approved submittals.
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs.
  • Revise and maintain minor corrections to CAD models and Bill’s of Material.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Participate in QA/QC process
