Job summary

Bell & Associates, Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking a Project Manager for low-voltage construction to oversee projects from estimating through closeout.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from estimating through final closeout.
  • Prepare estimates, review project scope, and support project pricing.
  • Analyze WIP, labor costs, cost-to-completion, and project profitability.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and schedules.
  • Track actual costs against estimates and identify potential overruns.
  • Manage change orders, scope changes, and pricing adjustments.
  • Coordinate labor, materials, subcontractors, vendors, and project resources.
  • Handle project invoicing and billing.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
  • Manage projects involving structured cabling, access control, intrusion/security, and CCTV systems.
  • Communicate with customers, field teams, contractors, vendors, and leadership.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Project Manager | Low Voltage Construction

Location: Tampa, FL 33614.

Compensation: $80,000-$95,000 DOE.

Schedule: Local Tampa Bay projects | No travel required.

Position Overview

An established Tampa-based low-voltage contractor is seeking a Project Manager to oversee projects from estimating and preconstruction through completion and closeout.

This role will have ownership of project budgets, labor, WIP, cost-to-completion, change orders, invoicing, scheduling, and overall project performance. The ideal candidate will have approximately 4-5 years of Project Management experience within low voltage, electrical, or construction environments.

Experience with structured cabling, access control, intrusion/security systems, and CCTV/surveillance is strongly preferred. Candidates with an electrical or electrician background will also be considered.

  • Experience managing projects from estimate through closeout.
  • Understanding of WIP, labor costing, cost-to-completion, budgeting, and project financials.
  • Experience with project billing and invoicing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple active projects.
  • No specific certifications required.

This is a strong growth opportunity with hands-on training from two experienced Project Managers as well as direct exposure to company ownership. The position offers the opportunity to develop on both the operational and financial sides of project management.

All projects are local to the Tampa Bay area, with no overnight or routine out-of-market travel required.
