Key accountabilities

  • Lead end-to-end project logistics, managing all aspects from vendor expediting (both data and hardware), transport, import/export of goods (including export license application and mgt), execution of factory acceptance tests and warehousing (incl. warehousing abroad), ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Drive strategic logistic planning, developing and executing project plans, proactively monitoring progress, and optimizing resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary interface with external partners, including customers and suppliers, fostering clear communication and strong collaborative relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure uncompromising regulatory and quality compliance, guaranteeing adherence to all applicable requirements and specifications to maintain operational integrity.
  • Actively evaluating and enhancing logistics tools, processes, and performance to cultivate a culture of excellence within the sub-department and drive necessary process adjustments in collaboration with the Department Manager Logistics
Qualifications
  • Proven expertise (5+ years) in managing complex logistics within project-driven, ideally shipbuilding or similar technical environments.
  • Demonstrated success in leading diverse logistics activities, including international shipping, customs, and vendor management.
  • Strong project management acumen, ideally with IPMA C or equivalent certification, and familiarity with supply chain best practices.

What we offer

  • 27 holidays and 13 ADV days.
  • Travel allowance of 23 cents per kilometre.
  • PME-pension arrangement with an employer contribution of 60%.
  • Profit sharing based on company results.
  • Flexibility to work from home up to two days a week.
  • Additional benefits including a bicycle plan and company fitness.
