Schaeffler is seeking a Project Manager - Logistics to lead and coordinate complex logistics projects from initiation to completion. You will manage cross-functional teams, align with clients and internal experts, and ensure on-time delivery with defined milestones and KPIs.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, stakeholder management, and proactive risk handling in a fast-paced environment, based in Fort Mill, SC. Prior experience with ERP tools and MS Office is preferred.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Manage one or more projects with internal as well as external customers.
• Agree on project targets and contents and develop solution concepts with experts based on client requirements.
• Ensure delivery of the projects assigned including all relevant steps, milestones, gateways and resources.
• Steer and coordinate lessons learned and ensure proper documentation and project reviews.
• Lead the project team members functionally and coordinate all involved external service providers, resources or stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external standards, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure transparency by given KPIs and involve relevant stakeholders in case of project target at risk.
• External applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employment visa or other sponsorship

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in project management, logistics, business administration, or a related field is required ; a master's degree is highly preferred, demonstrating advanced knowledge and leadership capabilities.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience managing complex projects within the logistics sector, preferably within large-scale enterprises or multinational organizations.
• Proficiency in using project management and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software alongside advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Excellent relationship management skills with a focus on active listening, clear communication, and problem-solving to build and maintain trust with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in guiding project teams, fostering collaboration, and motivating team members to achieve shared objectives.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to anticipate challenges, evaluate risk, and implement proactive solutions throughout project execution.
• Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work harmoniously across diverse teams and influence internal and external partners constructively.
• Familiarity with agile project management methodologies, including an understanding of agile mindsets, frameworks, and tools, is advantageous.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, adapting to evolving industry trends, and technological advancements within logistics and project management.
