Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee land production projects from initiation through completion. This individual will ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills and will be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously while working cross-functionally with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders. This position reports directly to the Director of Land Production.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate multiple concurrent projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Plan and organize project tasks, schedules, and resource allocations.
  • Track project milestones and progress; make adjustments as necessary to stay on track.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Assign tasks to team members based on expertise and workload capacity.
  • Oversee all aspects of project performance, including deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ensure adherence to CAD standards, quality control procedures, and company protocols.
  • Participate in departmental hiring, onboarding, and performance review processes.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and maintain consistent client communication.
  • Stay informed on industry regulations, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Support staff development through training sessions and relevant events.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and provide technical feedback for assigned projects.
  • Monitor and manage project schedules and workload distribution, including drafting and fieldwork assignments.
  • Attend project meetings, client events, industry conferences, and tradeshows as needed.
DailyResponsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align on project goals.
  • Lead daily briefings and debriefings to monitor and guide project progress.
  • Maintain thorough project documentation and records.
  • Review, plot, and manage project drawings; organize files for future use.
  • Proactively communicate updates, delays, or challenges to clients.
  • Attend internal project management and departmental meetings.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Land Production.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in project management with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Drafting, Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying, including team or field staff supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of land survey principles, topographic surveys, boundary analysis, platting, and construction stakeout.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software/tools.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve field measurement or data errors.
