Position Summary

Responsible for managing assigned projects and focusing on architecture as outlined below.

Responsibilities

  • DRE/Mapping/HOA Focus

    Coordinate with Land Development/Sr Project Manager to assess project-specific HOA needs and structure as required.

    B. Address project-specific mapping needs through recording of final map

    C. Kick off requests with all necessary vendors, including providing supporting documents and timeline expectations adhering to division standard practice formatting.

    D. Secure all necessary reports for sales team (RPTD, disclosures, CCRS, Public Report, etc.)

    Follow up with vendors for contracting (refer to AP Management).

    F. Manage vendors to maintain timeline and assist vendors in prioritizing RAH projects. Communicate changes to timelines/priority projects.

    G. Review deliverables from vendors as received in a timely manner. Provide feedback, resolve outstanding concerns.

    H. Ensure all deliverables meet company standards and will satisfy requirements

  • Project Management

    A. Coordinate with other departments (Land, Purchasing, Construction, etc) to address project specific needs/challenges

    B. Update disclosures/sales docs as need to maintain sales pace and provide to sales team (upload to ShareFile)

    C. Manage plan set changes (ex. code change)

    D. Revise Development Plan as needed

    E. Hold community kickoff meeting

    F. Ongoing communication/deliverables on a project specific basis

    G. Bond updates/CFD/Credit management

    H. Serve on HOA board of select projects

  • AP Management

    A. Due Diligence contracting (shared responsibility with department coordinator).

    B. Review and approve appropriate invoices, provide backup documentation as needed. Resolve coding if needed.

    C. Submit timely and accurate Check Requests including backup documentation

    D. Address incoming requests from vendors, finance, etc to resolve outstanding AP issues.

    E. Process payments through E1 POs

    F. Maintain credit card charge records

  • Document Management

    A. Adhere to division- wide standard practices for folder structure in Z: drive, ShareFile, BuildPro, etc.

    B. Upload, archive, revise documents in a timely manner and to appropriate locations

    C. Follow standard templates for department documentation including but not limited to plot plans, sequence sheet, etc.

  • General Duties and Responsibilities

    A. Special department projects as assigned

    B. Attend and pass all required Richmond American training programs

    C. Complete all established paperwork, reports and files in accordance with the company format and timeframes.

    D. Present a professional image in accordance with company appearance standards.

    E. Maintain a high level of ethics and integrity in all dealings.

    F. Perform multiple detail-oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines.

    G. Build strong relationships with internal departments and other managers.

    H. Other duties as assigned by the Division.

    A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or equivalent work experienceExperience in Land Acquisition, Land Development, Land Brokering or Land SalesThe reading of civil engineering plansComputer skills with word processing, spreadsheets, Outlook and MS Project programs are required

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $90,000 - $110,000
  • FLSA Status: Exempt
  • Bonus Type: Year End Discretionary
