Base pay range

$110,000.00/yr – $125,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Client management and project management.
• Development/preparation of proposals to clients.
• Provide excellent and responsive client service.
• Maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and invoicing.
• Provide your team’s technical expertise to assist clients in accomplishing their development goals.
• Represent clients throughout key milestones in their projects, including at public presentations and hearings.
• Business development and marketing of the firm.
• Leadership, mentoring, and development of staff.
• Staff supervision, quality control of civil/site designs, workload and staff resource planning.
• Oversee employee performance, providing regular feedback and recognition.
• Work with senior leadership team to accomplish company goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Maryland required.
• 10-12 years’ progressive experience in civil engineering land development design, preferably in Southern Maryland.
• 5+ years’ experience managing the civil/site design for land development projects (Southern Maryland experience preferred).
• 5+ years’ experience managing design staff.
• Excellent organizational and delegation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience nurturing and growing client relationships and delivering quality service.
