What we are looking for in the person for this position

Position Overview – Project Manager

Accountable to: Operations

What we are looking for in the person for this position

We’re on the lookout for a Project Manager who loves turning complex ideas into smooth-running projects. Our ideal candidate can see the big picture, nail down the details, and create project strategies that truly work.

As a Project Manager, you’ll understand how to prioritize and focus on the most important tasks — so that projects can be both effective and efficient. When unexpected challenges arise, you can think on your feet and keep things moving forward. Your ability to create detailed plans and adapt will be key to keeping our projects within scope and aligned with what our clients need.

We’re after someone who’s not just a planner, but a leader and a team player. You’ll guide your project team members with clear direction and inspire them to share their best ideas. Your job is to keep everyone in sync, focused, making sure projects hit their goals — and delivering results that make clients happy.

If you enjoy leading teams, organizing tasks, and making sure everything runs smoothly, we want to hear from you! Bring your enthusiasm, knack for identifying priorities, and get-it-done attitude to our team, and help us achieve great things together!

8 SIGNAL Project Manager core values
  • A dedicated team player who honors their word and lends a hand
  • A humbly confident individual who takes ownership of their actions, both successes and failures
  • A self-motivated creative problem-solver who is not afraid to think outside the box
  • A joyful and friendly colleague who promotes positivity and kindness.
Key Functions/Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership and Resource Coordination (LMA): Responsible for resource allocation and leading cross-functional teams, the Project Manager ensures people are operating in their areas of strength as outlined in the EOS Accountability Chart and that team efforts align with the project’s Rocks.
  • Use the Accountability Chart to ensure every team member understands their roles and responsibilities.
  • Employ the People Analyzer™ to assess if team members Get It, Want It, and have the Capacity to do it (GWC™), fostering a culture of accountability and right people in the right seats.
  • Analyze and implement strategy (w/ Marketing Strategist): Our Project Manager is the person responsible for keeping our projects on track and aligned with the scope. Guided by the project deliverables and working within the Entrepreneurial Operating System’s principles, they ensure that all projects are on-point and follow the direction we’ve set out.
  • Using the Project Brief to align the project’s scope with the overarching strategy.
  • Set/maintain/analyze scopes, budgets, schedules: The Project Manager sets and oversees the project’s timeline and major milestones, incorporating buffers for unexpected variables. By managing internal and external timelines, employing the Scorecard to track critical metrics, and setting clear Rocks for the team, the Project Manager ensures deadlines are met and the project remains within budget.
  • Client communication/reporting (primary POC): Acting as the chief liaison, the Project Manager manages client expectations through regular update reports, and transparent communication. They maintain organization within projects using tools like Asana for project tracking, ensuring all documentation is properly coded and easily accessible.
  • Communication/reporting to Operations and Account Management: When the going gets tough, our Project Manager gets to the root of it. They’re all about nipping issues in the bud using EOS problem-solving methods. They keep us moving forward and refine our approach as we grow, always keeping the Account Manager and leadership team in the know with the latest updates on project progress.
  • Using the IDS™ (Identify, Discuss, Solve) process and Level 10 Meeting™ agendas, they facilitate the resolution of these issues and continuously optimize processes to improve future project outcomes, all the while keeping the leadership team informed of project health via Scorecard metrics.
