What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Lead planning, organization, and execution of large-scale, enterprise-level projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Manage the full project lifecycle, including requirements assessment, project plan creation, resource management, budgeting, execution, deployment, and closure
- Maintain detailed project documentation including meeting minutes, action items, risk management plans, and issue logs
- Provide regular status updates and communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including executive leadership
- Negotiate with stakeholders to identify resources, resolve issues, and mitigate project risks
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of project management experience, including leading cross-functional teams on large-scale projects
- Previous experience in a functional leadership role with supervisory responsibilities, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Proven expertise in healthcare project management, ideally in Medicare, Medicaid, or managed care environments
- Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to senior leaders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Proficiency in MS Office; Smartsheet experience highly preferred
- PMP certification is preferred
