Job summary

HPC-Industrial powered by Clean Harbors in Reserve, LA, is seeking a Chemical Cleaning Project Manager (Industrial Services) to lead a service line crew at a customer site. You will plan, direct, and coordinate daily operations, ensure safe, efficient performance, and maintain client communications.

The role requires strong project management, supervisory experience, and ability to work with heavy industrial equipment, chemicals, and strict safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in industrial cleaning with PM and supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of project management and ability to lead teams.
• Knowledge of operating equipment used in service line.
• Ability to read and interpret PFDs, technical procedures and drawings.
• CDL with endorsements preferred and driver certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crews, ensure safety and quality on site.
• Plan, coordinate, and direct daily service-line operations.
• Ensure equipment is available and operates as per schematics.
• Complete safety documentation and job safety analyses.
• Maintain client relations and communicate updates.

HPC-Industrialpowered by Clean Harbors, is looking for aChemical Cleaning Project Manager (Industrial Services)to work at a customer location inReserve, LAand to join their safety conscious team!This team member is responsible for two or more crews by planning, leading, organizing, and coordinating the daily operations of the service line crew. This includes responsibility over proper operation of equipment, driving operational efficiencies at the work site and ensuring accurate documentation related to the job is completed in a timely fashion. Ensures compliance with all Company policies/procedures and maintains/improves good customer relations by providing quality, timely industrial cleaning services. TheChemical Cleaning Project Managerserves as representative ofHPC-Industrialin creating a continuous working relationship with clients/customers.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Must always come to work fit for duty.
• Instructs, provides feedback, and directs and assists crew in performance of job duties to complete work in accordance with client requirements and Company policies, practices, and procedures. Enforces Company employee policies and may remove an employee from the job when required.
• Accountable for the overall safety, quality, and success of the project assigned.
• Leads crew, assist crew and train new employees in completion of the job duties in accordance with all company and client policy.
• Reads job procedure and ensures all required equipment is available and operational prior to starting job.
• Complete and review (JSA’s) Job Safety Analysis and all safety paperwork.
• Operate and set up all necessary cleaning equipment such as but not limited to pumps, hoses, and circulators in accordance with operations job schematics, training, guidelines, and safety procedures.
• Help install, fix, repair valves, caps, hoses, pump gaskets, and all other external and internal equipment.
• Monitor all equipment during circulation for integrity and efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including but not limited to wearing personal protective equipment.
• Maintain personal PPE.
• Must have the ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, hot, and cold industrial environments.
• Inspect equipment and general work area prior to starting any job.
• Corrects deficiencies that may cause accidents, injuries, lost productivity, harm to equipment, or is inconsistent with our client’s requirements and policies and procedures.
• Communicate updates with clients.
• Performs preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment when required.
• Completes and turns in all appropriate paperwork daily.
• Train Supervisors, Technicians and Operators on-the-job in equipment operation, service line processes and necessary paperwork.
• Operates all necessary equipment in the chemical cleaning service line in accordance with operation, training and safety procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 5 plus years of experience within the industrial cleaning industry. Prior project management and supervisory experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and ability in project management.
• Strong knowledge of operating equipment used in service line.
• Ability to comprehend the English language, written and verbal.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting equipment is preferred.
• Current certification as an authorized Company driver.
• CDL with endorsements, preferred.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED or greater and/or equivalent experience.
• Able to read and interpret PFD’s, technical procedures and drawings.
• Able to work with chemicals
• Able to work with a flexible schedule, days/nights, and / or shift schedules
• Strong understanding of circulation methods, flows, pressures, etc. that are commonly used for chemical cleaning services
