Job summary

M. J. Electric, LLC is seeking a Project Manager - Industrial to lead project teams on electrical construction programs in the Chicago area. You will oversee pre-construction planning, mobilization, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with subcontractors and clients to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Travel to project locations is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented with high accuracy in project work.
• Diverse knowledge of construction project administration and coordination.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and due dates.
• Experience working with a diverse workforce and strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Construction: manage job set ups, contractual deliverables, budgets, schedules and values.
• Construction: oversee manpower, equipment, material coordination, forecasting, and billing.
• Post Construction: conduct inspections, finalize as-built records, and closeouts.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and clients; lead weekly project meetings.

We are looking for a talented Project Manager that has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible for providing management support to project team as guided by the Commercial Manager assisting in administration and organization of various project documents. This position requires an individual with a high level of organization, focus to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
