Job summary

Vertech is seeking a capable Project Manager to lead the profitable delivery of automation projects across various industries, including manufacturing, food and beverage, renewable energy, and water treatment.

The role emphasizes coordinating scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder expectations, with an emphasis on clear client communications and effective change management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field such as mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in the Industrial Automation industry.
• Experience in energy industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the profitable and successful delivery of automation projects.
• Establish and maintain plans for the success of automation projects including scope, schedule, cash-flow, budget, and client satisfaction.
• Monitor and direct the work of project team members.
• Communicate status with clients.
• Negotiate change orders with clients.
• Manage client expectations.
• Work with accounting on project financials, progress for revenue recognition and invoicing.

What You Need for this Position

• Bachelor of Science degree preferably in a technical field such as mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering or equivalent experience (2+ years)
• At least 5 years of experience in the Industrial Automation industry
• Experience in energy industry is a plus
