It serves as the central interface for developing and executing global portfolio strategies in close collaboration with R&D, Sales, Strategy, and Marketing.

At Client, we know the stakes are high for cell and gene therapy developers and that time‑to‑market is critical. Greater process efficiency, solid regulatory expertise, and future scale‑up are vital. We have crafted a series of GMP solutions for cell and gene therapy based on these core principles. Using Thera PEAK products customers can better plan the development of their therapy, from discovery right through to commercialization. Depending on team structure, this role may report to a Senior or Associate Director product manager.

Product Line Strategy

  • Ensure Bioscience continues to lead its segment with new product and service offerings that meet unmet market needs and differentiate from the competition.

  • Manage the complete life cycle and value chain of the assigned product portfolio, including market, competition, customer, and application intelligence, in close cooperation with the marketing manager and strategy teams to deliver on customer commitments as well as sales and profit targets.

  • Drive the innovation strategy for the portfolio, execute required customer intelligence, and provide leadership for new product development programs, including business case development, formalization through the stage‑gate process, development of product specifications and use cases, beta testing programs, and preparation of products for launch.

  • Understand customer needs and opportunities for BioScience, map existing and unmet needs to current and future offerings, and own and manage the product pricing strategy.

  • Identify new areas for customer and business value, including improved products, services, margins, and new technology and IP offerings.

  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop and implement pricing, positioning, and channel strategies for various global regions and market segments.

Sales and Operations Planning and Performance Insights

  • Drive the forecasting process to link sales forecasts and production quantities, address demand exceptions, forecast new products, manage inventory, and assist prioritization during supply challenges.

  • Monitor portfolio performance to ensure revenue, volume, and margin targets are met and raise concerns or adjustments as needed.

  • Monitor product line performance at the customer level to understand trends and uncover new challenges and opportunities to inform strategy and go‑to‑market activities.

  • Provide regular reports as requested by business leadership.

  • Keep key stakeholder groups (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance) apprised of new developments and opportunities.

Marketing Planning

  • Support the development of comprehensive marketing plans for the assigned portfolio by collaborating closely with the marketing management team.

  • Join deviation review board meetings.

  • Support change control and CAPA driven by quality.

  • Work with sales and marketing for customer communication and positioning.
