Job summary

Tesco Controls in the United States is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large, complex projects independently within the water-wastewater sector. Your deep understanding of Power Distribution and I&C will guide project decisions and execution.

As a future leader in the Project Management team, you will manage scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder coordination across internal and external teams. Travel up to 20% is required.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of project management experience within the construction industry, water/wastewater industry and/or system integration.
  • Deep understanding of Power Distribution and I&C.
  • Understanding of applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
  • Act as a responsible company representative.
  • Willing to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

  • Change Control: Implement change control measures to manage project scope changes.
  • Schedule and Budget Management: Monitor progress and keep projects on time and budget.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify critical issues and take corrective actions.
  • Company Representation: Represent Tesco Controls in meetings and strategic sessions.
  • Communication: Interpret and communicate plans and contract terms to staff, customers, and end users.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed progress, cost, and scheduling reports.

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the water‑wastewater industry? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team and take charge of executing large, complex projects independently. In this role, we’re looking for an experienced, future leader within our Project Management team. This will involve full‑scope project management responsibilities and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

What you will do:
  • Change Control: Implement change control measures to manage modifications in project scope effectively.
  • Schedule and Budget Management: Monitor and control project progress to ensure on‑time and within budget completion.
  • Problem‑Solving: Investigate potential critical situations and take corrective actions proactively.
  • Company Representation: Represent the company in project meetings and strategic sessions.
  • Communication: Effectively interpret and communicate plans and contract terms to administrative staff, customers, and end users.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on work progress, costs, and scheduling.

Demonstrated Skills:
  • 10+ years of project management experience within the construction industry, water/wastewater industry and/or system integration (a plus).
  • Deep understanding of Power Distribution and I&C.
  • Understanding of applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner; written and verbal.
  • Act as a responsible company representative.
  • Regularly attend formal training, review journals, publications, and other valuable resources to continuously develop knowledge of current technologies.
  • Understanding of manufacturing workflow, including planning activities.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 20%.
Education:
  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in construction management.
  • PMP certification.

Pay offered will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and geographic location. We may pay more or less than the range based on the person’s qualifications. In good faith we believe the range is what we will pay for this role at the time of the posting and may change in the future. In addition, Tesco offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vacation, holidays, and 100% 401K match of your contributions up to 4% of your earnings.
